The Avengers - Arc reactor special 1

Tony dragged his feet in the bedroom direction. It was 4 a.m. and he just finished working in the lab, wanting nothing more than to just lie in his bed. His breath quickened as he made it to the bedroom and saw that his bed was already occupied by the muscled figure of Captain America. They were already dating for a while, but Tony still was mildly surprised seeing Steve there. They didn't make any agreement that Steve will be sleeping here, somehow it happened naturally. And it did make Tony happy. He changed into his pajama bottom, leaving his tank top on. He slipped under the covers, next to Steve, not hugging him or anything, just being next to him.

"Tony.." Steve murmured softly.
"Sorry, woke you up?"
"No," Captain opened his eyes with a smile. He moved closer to Tony, letting the covers slid from his body and Tony noticed that Steve was shirtless.

"Take it off," Steve gently tugged Tony's tank top. Tony frowned, and reluctantly took his shirt off, just making sure that the covers are up to his neck now. Steve got even closer, wanting to embrace Tony, but the brunet rolled into him, pressing his back to Steve's torso. Steve sighed.

"Turn around," Steve kissed the place on the side of Tony's neck that always made him melt. He didn't know if Steve was aware of that. He turned around, keeping his arms close to his chest, snuggling into the blonde, his head under his chin.

"Better?"
"Almost. Pull your hands down."
"… No."
"Why not, Tony?"
"Because no."
"Babe.. I told you that I don't mind.."
"I mind, shut up."

Steve sighed again. He gently pulled down Tony's hands, and before he could lift them up again, he pressed Tony's chest to his, leaving little space in case the brunet wanted to shield the arc again. Tony didn't say anything, just snuggled his head more and hid his face in Captain's neck.

"It's cold…" he breathed, his warm breath leaving a pleasant feeling on Steve's skin.
"Yeah, it is. But I don't mind," Steve smiled wrapping his hands tighter around his boyfriend. "It's still you," he kissed the top of brown head.
"Kay.." Tony mumbled, agreeing with him. He could get used to this.
